How we use your donations

Harpseals.org operates with very low overhead and no salaries. With donations from our supporters, we have reached millions of individuals with information about sealing.

We have utilized mass media, including TV commercials in the U.S. and Canada, billboards in the U.S., and newspaper ads in the U.S. and Namibia.

We have informed hundreds of thousands of people through online newspaper and website advertising and Facebook advertising.

We have educated thousands of people by hosting booths at fairs and festivals and speaking at schools and civic groups.

We provide free resources for seal activists worldwide, including printed leaflets, brochures, and Action Cards. We have mailed tens of thousands of printed educational materials to volunteers who distribute them in their communities.

With our web site, facebook page, and our email newsletters, we strive to educate the public and keep seal activists up to date on the campaign.
