Harpseals.org Print Ads

Harpseals.org has several print ads that we have put in newspapers and magazines around the U.S. We purchase print ads to the extent that our budget allows, and we invite seal activists to sponsor ads in their local papers.

These ads can be used in daily newspapers, weekly newspapers, community newspapers, civic group newsletters, campus newspapers, magazines (including 'Pet Pages' type magazines), theater programs, etc. We even adapted one for use as a wall mural on a building in San Francisco.

Contact us if you would like to sponsor an ad.

Note: we have small images of the ads below, which are linked to larger images. Right-click on the images below and select "Save link as" or "Save target as". The larger images that we linked below are generally not sufficiently high resolution for the newspaper/magazine. We have much higher resolution versions available but cannot put them on our website. So contact us if you want a print-ready file. We can send it to the newspaper/magazine via their ftp site or send you a CD by mail. We also have black and white versions of some of these ads.

Help Us End the Canada's Cruel Slaughter

Please Help Us End Canada's Cruel Slaughter

This print ad has an image of a sealer about to strike a seal pup and an image of a whitecoat harp seal pup. It has enough text to give the reader the basics about the seal hunt and (hopefully) spur him/her to action. We tell the reader about the Canadian seafood boycott and direct him/her to our website for more information.

If you like this ad, please consider sponsoring it in a newspaper or magazine you read.

You Can Stop The Canadian Seal Hunt

You Can Stop This

This print ad has no sealing images, just a photo of a whitecoat harp seal pup - the picture of innocence.

The ad provides a little bit of information on the seal hunt and the Canadian seafood boycott. It also mentions that harp seals are already endangered by global warming.

It is intended to be very eye catching and is best in color; however, we do have a black and white version available, too.

SuperSealWoman Snatches Hakapik and Saves Seal

SuperSealwoman Snatches the Sealer's Hakapik and Saves the Seal

This colorful print ad, inspired by comic superheroes, is intended to be eye-catching. We hope the readers will be intrigued and visit our web site for more information.

We think this ad is great for teen magazines, college newspapers (with color printing), and building walls, too.

We have a 1/2 page horizontal version of this ad as well.

This is one in our SuperSealWoman collection. More versions follow.

SuperSealWoman Snatches Hakapik and Saves Seal

SuperSealwoman Snatches the Sealer's Hakapik and Saves the Seal - Extra Bold

This is an alternative, extra bold version of the flying superhero ad above.

We think this ad is great for alternative 'zines, teen magazines, and college newspapers (with color printing).

This is the second in our SuperSealWoman collection. More versions follow.

SuperSealWoman Grabs Hakapik and Kicks Sealer

SuperSealwoman Grabs the Sealer's Hakapik and Kicks Him

This colorful print ad is another Harpseals.org eye-catching comic-inspired ad.

We think this ad is great for teen magazines, college newspapers (with color printing), and building walls, too.

This is the third in our SuperSealWoman collection. Another version follows.

Kick Some Sealer Butt

SuperSealwoman Grabs the Sealer's Hakapik and Kicks Some Sealer Butt - Extra Bold

This is an alternative, extra bold version of the kicking superhero ad above.

We think this ad is great for alternative 'zines, teen magazines, and college newspapers (with color printing).

This is the last in our SuperSealWoman collection.
