A FOCUS ON RED LOBSTER RESTAURANTS
(Owned by The Darden Group, this parent company also owns another large chain of restaurants called the Olive Garden)

Why Red Lobster? This well known restaurant chain is one of the largest purchasers of Canadian Seafood in the world making it a prime target of the seafood boycott...

After several activist groups and individuals have corresponded with them in many ways, management has indeed confirmed they are using Canadian seafood but has effectively given us the cold shoulder... Apparently, they don't believe we can rally the power to affect them. The seal activists have responded in unison: Let's bring it on!

In fact, they issued us a letter with their "official stand" regarding the seal hunt, and, needless to say, it's pretty sad.
It appears they not only admit to using Canadian seafood, but they have also fallen for the classic Governmental propaganda about the cod fish to seal relationship.

Read the Red Lobster rejection letter now, then tell them what you think!
(you can email them here)

One grocer that buys Atlantic Canadian seafood is Publix Supermarket. The packages are labeled "from Canada," and, in the fresh fish department, country of origin labels are supposed to be on all products. Please look for this Canadian seafood in YOUR local supermarket and let us know what you find. We'll then add these other supermarkets to this page.
