The second Harpseals.org Benefit Concert for the Seals will rock L.A., with Grammy-nominated platinum rock band Great White, on Saturday, January 27, 2007, at the Key Club in Hollywood, California. Great White has re-formed with its original members; and guitarist Mark Kendall and singer Jack Russell have written 15 new songs for their 25th Anniversary Tour, which will be kicked off at the Key Club for the Harpseals.org Benefit Concert. The complete Great White lineup will be Russell, Kendall, Michael Lardie, Sean McNabb and Audie Desbow.
Comedian Hal Sparks will be on hand to emcee the concert.
Last year in Canada, over 335,000 defenseless Canadian baby harp seals were brutally clubbed or shot to death for their pelts, their bodies left on the ice to rot. As many as 42% were skinned alive. While concert-goers enjoy the performances at the Key Club, they will also have the opportunity to learn about the many ways they can help put an end to this annual seal massacre. In addition, they will have the opportunity to support the seal campaign by purchasing t-shirts, seal rocks, and seal dolls and by bidding on trips, celebrity items, and much more at the silent auction. Help us save the seals by attending this special event.
