I urge you to support Sen. Harb's bill to end the seal hunt. Enough is enough. The slaughter of seals is an unconscionable crime against defenseless baby animals. It is Canada's shame. It has not been an important part of the economy of Newfoundland and Labrador or Atlantic Canada for many years. Now, it is subsidized 100% by Newfoundland taxpayers. It is now a waste of life and a waste of money. Enough is enough. You can end this madness and make your mark in Canada's history as a sane, sensible, compassionate individual who helped end what will someday be seen all over Canada, including in Newfoundland and Labrador, as an embarrassment and an example of just how cruel, stubborn, and irrational humans can be.
